On Wednesday, March 6, a select group of students from Antlers high school participated in the 2024 Eastern Oklahoma State College Summit Leadership Conference. There, the students learned what it means to be a true leader not only in the school, but community. They were told to find their passion, and follow it. At the end of every conference, there is a group of kids chosen for specific awards. Two of our Bearcats received awards. Bryn Copeland received the Mountaineer Award, which showed he really stepped out of his comfort zone to be active in the conference. Kayla Wolfe received the Networking Award, which showed she went out of her way to make new friends, and make connections with people she had never met before. In all, it was a great day to be a Bearcat!
