For Kindness Month, the Elementary students were challenged to collect 100 items per grade level of non-perishable items, by the 100th day of school on Feb 15th. The Elementary students superseded our expectations by collecting a whopping 3,048 items! WOW!!! There was so much that the students were able to spell out "KIND" with canned goods and ring the basketball court with the non-perishable items.
The items will be donated to our local food bank as a way to give back to our community.
Fifth grade boys: Creedon Clark, Caden Landreth, James Hatcher, Clancy Savage, Fisher Vasconcellos, and Jason Narramore helped load all the items into three trucks.
