Avery Babb, a sophomore at Antlers High, was recently selected for the 2024 OKMEA All-State High School Choir. Avery competed against approximately 500 Soprano 1 singers in the state to earn her spot. After the grueling double audition process, 60 out of the 500 were chosen for the choir.
Avery has been a member of "The Voice of the Bearcats Choir" since her sixth-grade year. She began competing in 7th grade. Since that time, she has been selected for the SE All-District Choir four years straight, the SE High School Honor Show Choir her freshman year, and the OkCDA Junior High All-State Choir three years consecutively.
You can hear Avery sing with the High School Choir on Sunday, December 10th at 3 pm, as they present "Cookies, Cocoa, and Christmas Carols" at the High School Auditorium.
