Jack Ward

Introducing Our New High School Principal - Jack Ward  

Antlers Public School District is pleased to welcome Jack Ward as our new high school principal.  

Mr. Ward has 28 years of experience as an educator, most recently as Superintendent of Schools at Coalgate Public Schools.  He graduated from East Central University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1992, then achieved his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University in 2007.  

He coached basketball and taught high school English at Gracemont Public Schools and Binger-Oney Public Schools in Caddo County. Then he coached basketball and taught high school English at Coalgate Public Schools.  Next, he taught high school English at Tushka Public Schools.   Finally, he served as Superintendent of Coalgate Public Schools for the past four years.  

Mr. Ward is married to another educator, Becky, who is the 8th Grade ELA and Writing teacher at Obuch Middle School.  The Wards have three sons - Trey, Casey and Sam, along with four grandchildren.  

When he's not at school, Mr. Ward enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading and watching sports.  

Russell Noland, Antlers Superintendent, praised the addition of Mr. Ward, saying “Mr. Ward's extensive experience as a teacher and administrator has equipped him with the knowledge and skills that will be an asset to our Antlers students, staff and families."
